Senior eMerchant Acquisition Manager

About the role

ABA PayWay is looking for a Senior eMerchant Acquisition Manager to accelerate growth by acquiring high‑value merchants and building lasting partnerships. You will combine strategic sales leadership with AI‑driven insights to boost transaction volume and market share.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and target high‑potential merchants, deliver product presentations and payment consultations to meet growth targets.
• Lead end‑to‑end merchant onboarding, coordinating with Technical, Operations, and Risk teams for seamless integration.
• Maintain long‑term relationships through regular follow‑ups, ensuring merchant satisfaction and sustained transaction growth.
• Utilise AI tools and digital platforms to automate reporting, conduct market research, and apply data‑driven insights.
• Analyse market trends, competitor activity and merchant performance to develop actionable business cases.
• Collaborate closely with Product, Technical and Support departments and stay updated on fintech trends.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, FinTech, Information Technology or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in sales, merchant acquisition or business development, preferably in banking or payments.
• Fluency in English and Khmer, both written and verbal.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a fast‑paced environment.
• Self‑starter with strong problem‑solving abilities and ability to thrive under pressure.
