Senior Credit Administration Officer

About the role

The Agricultural and Rural Development Bank (ARDB) is seeking two experienced professionals to join its Credit Administration team in Stung Treng and Kampong Thom. The role focuses on ensuring the accuracy and compliance of credit documentation, processing disbursements, and supporting loan officers throughout the credit lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Verify the completeness and correctness of customer credit documents before forwarding them for managerial approval.
• Track the status of submitted documents, request missing items promptly, and ensure timely processing.
• Execute loan disbursements in the core banking system and prepare loan settlements according to procedures.
• Scan, organize, and securely store credit files for easy retrieval by relevant departments.
• Meet clients in person to collect additional information, discuss loan proposals, and promote ARDB products and services.
• Monitor monthly and annual loan issuance targets, follow up on repayments, and assist in resolving delinquent accounts.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the office manager.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in finance, economics, accounting, business administration or a related field.
• 2‑3 years of experience in banking or micro‑finance, preferably in credit administration, credit operations, or as a credit officer.
• Strong command of English for communication and documentation.
• Good understanding of credit operations, credit risk management, and market research.
• Ability to analyse financial statements, credit reports and assess loan risk.
• Familiarity with professional credit standards, legal procedures and core banking systems.

Required skills

• Proficiency in English (written and spoken).
• Experience using a Core Banking System.
