Senior Business and Quality Assurance Officer

About the role

The Senior Business and Quality Assurance Officer will lead risk identification, business assurance, and process improvement initiatives to ensure compliance, operational efficiency, and high service quality within BVM’s petroleum import and distribution operations.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, assess, and prioritize risks associated with business processes and develop mitigation strategies.
• Conduct regular business assurance checks, monitor internal controls, and present findings to management.
• Analyze existing processes, propose improvements, and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Design and maintain internal controls to prevent errors, fraud, and non‑compliance, adjusting them as needed.
• Collaborate with departments to provide guidance on best practices, compliance, and risk management.
• Provide training and support on compliance, risk management, and internal control procedures.
• Coordinate assigned business support projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in business assurance, internal auditing, or a related discipline.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail and effective communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and uphold high ethical standards.
