Senior Assessment & Cyber Incident Response Officer

About the role

The Senior Assessment & Cyber Incident Response Officer will lead cybersecurity assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration tests while supporting incident investigations. Reporting directly to the manager, the role ensures the organization’s IT systems and applications meet security standards and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct cybersecurity assessments, vulnerability scans, penetration tests, and security risk assessments for IT systems and applications.
• Analyze results, identify risks and gaps, and prepare detailed reports with actionable recommendations for management.
• Support cyber incident investigation, response coordination, and regulatory compliance audit preparation.
• Collaborate with IT, SOC, and business units to implement remediation measures and maintain documentation of assessments and incidents.
• Assist in developing security awareness and training programs and stay updated on emerging threats and best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology or a related field.
• 4–6 years of experience in cybersecurity, risk assessment or security operations.
• Professional certifications such as CEH, Security+ or equivalent are preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and reporting abilities with high personal integrity.
• Excellent English communication skills and willingness to travel frequently to branch offices.

Required skills

• Proficiency with vulnerability assessment tools and penetration testing techniques.
• Knowledge of risk management methodologies and cybersecurity frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, PCI‑DSS).
• Experience conducting security risk assessments and preparing remediation plans.
• Familiarity with security incident investigation and response processes.
