Sales Executive – Power & Energy Solutions

About the role

The Sales Executive will drive new business opportunities for China Energy Engineering Group in the power and energy sectors across Cambodia and surrounding provinces. Working in a hybrid model, the role combines client‑facing activities with close collaboration with engineering and project teams to deliver integrated solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and prospect new clients in the power, energy and infrastructure markets.
• Generate leads, build pipelines and manage the end‑to‑end sales cycle from initial contact to contract negotiation and closure.
• Prepare and present tailored proposals that align technical solutions with client needs.
• Coordinate with engineering and project teams to ensure solution feasibility and delivery.
• Monitor market trends, conduct competitor analysis and participate in industry events.
• Maintain accurate sales forecasts, reports and CRM data.
• Provide high‑quality service and communication throughout the customer journey.
• Collaborate with regional and global teams to support strategic growth initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven B2B sales or business development experience, preferably in power, energy, infrastructure or related industrial sectors.
• Strong track record in lead generation, pipeline management, proposal development and contract negotiation, meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Ability to understand complex technical solutions and translate them into clear value propositions for clients.
• Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills to build trust‑based relationships with diverse stakeholders.
• Solid analytical and problem‑solving abilities, including market research and data‑driven sales strategy.
• Fluency in English required; proficiency in Khmer and/or Mandarin is a strong plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communication or a related field.
