Road & Traffic Safety Supervisor

About the role

The Road & Traffic Safety Supervisor will lead the planning, implementation and monitoring of road and traffic safety programs for Chip Mong Insee Cement Corporation’s operations in Phnom Penh. This full‑time, on‑site position ensures safe internal transport routes and external logistics activities while complying with Cambodian road safety and occupational health regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute road and traffic safety programs for internal and external transport.
• Conduct regular site and roadway inspections, identify hazards and enforce corrective actions.
• Coordinate and deliver safety training for drivers, transport staff and other personnel.
• Investigate traffic‑related incidents and near‑misses, produce root‑cause analyses and recommend preventive measures.
• Maintain safety records, prepare management reports and track performance metrics.
• Collaborate with internal departments and external partners on safety initiatives and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of Health & Safety and Occupational Health principles applied to road and traffic environments.
• Experience in safety engineering and designing practical road safety measures for industrial operations.
• Proven ability to conduct safety training and lead accident investigations.
• Relevant diploma or degree in safety engineering, occupational health, transportation or a related field.
• Experience supervising road or transport safety, preferably in heavy industry or logistics.
• Excellent communication and reporting skills, with the ability to influence safety behavior at all levels.
• Ability to work on‑site, collaborate across functions and respond promptly to safety issues.
• Familiarity with Cambodian road traffic laws is an advantage.
