Risk Analytics Specialist

About the role

The Risk Analytics Specialist will support the Risk Analytics team in developing alert‑triggering analytics, automating reports, and conducting comprehensive data analysis focused on fraud and risk. This role is based at the Head Office in Phnom Penh and offers the opportunity to work on model development, validation, and data‑driven decision making.

Key responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive data analysis for fraud detection and risk assessment.
• Develop, maintain, implement, and validate models, scenarios, and alert‑triggering rules.
• Document analyses, models, and alert‑triggering rules.
• Design and implement controls to ensure correct execution of models and rules.
• Automate analyses, reports, and standard analytics wherever possible.
• Contribute to data‑management and data‑sourcing projects.
• Assist in implementation testing and acceptance of deliverables.
• Maintain professional communication with peers, colleagues, and management.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum one year of experience in data analysis and data modeling.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to present results in comprehensive reports.
• Effective professional communication and teamwork skills.
• Flexibility to work with adaptable schedules.

Required skills

• Proficiency in SQL and relational databases.
• Experience extracting, transforming and visualizing data.
