Retail Operations Manager (Local)

About the role

The Retail Operations Manager (Local) will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of store performance across the company's locations. This role combines operational leadership, demand planning, and merchandising to drive sales, efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage overall retail operations across all store locations.
• Develop and implement operational strategies to improve sales, productivity and customer satisfaction.
• Monitor and analyze key performance indicators such as sales, conversion rates, inventory turnover and shrinkage.
• Manage budgets, cost control and profitability of retail operations.
• Lead the demand planning function for all retail categories and channels.
• Develop forecasting strategies using historical data, market trends and business insights.
• Analyze sales trends, promotions, seasonality and market conditions to improve forecast accuracy.
• Manage inventory planning to ensure optimal stock levels and reduce excess or obsolete inventory.
• Lead product assortment planning, category management and pricing strategy.
• Oversee visual merchandising standards across all locations.
• Coordinate seasonal planning, promotions and product launches.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading retail operations across multiple store locations.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and execute operational strategies that enhance sales and productivity.
• Strong analytical skills with experience monitoring KPIs such as sales, conversion rates, inventory turnover and shrinkage.
• Experience managing budgets, cost control and profitability in a retail environment.
• Background in demand planning, forecasting and inventory management.
• Experience in product assortment planning, category management and pricing strategy.
• Ability to ensure consistent visual merchandising standards and drive seasonal promotions.
