Remote Golang Developer – Contract

About the role

We are seeking a remote Golang Developer on a contract basis to design and implement scalable backend services. You will work within a micro‑services architecture, collaborating with product managers and engineers to deliver high‑performance solutions for a global IT services leader.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, test, and deploy backend services using Go for distributed systems.
• Optimize existing services for performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well‑documented code following best practices.
• Debug and resolve production issues with minimal downtime.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define technical requirements.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of hands‑on Go development experience.
• Experience building microservices and RESTful APIs.
• Strong grasp of data structures, algorithms, and system design.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and container orchestration.
• Proficiency with SQL and NoSQL databases and query optimization.
