Relationship Manager

About the role

The Relationship Manager will work full‑time on site in Phnom Penh, overseeing a portfolio of business and individual clients. The role focuses on building long‑term relationships, delivering tailored banking solutions, and ensuring high customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and grow a portfolio of SME, corporate and personal clients.
• Identify client needs and propose appropriate banking products and services.
• Prepare and review credit proposals, monitor account performance and assess risk.
• Collaborate with internal teams for onboarding, documentation and transaction execution.
• Proactively seek new business opportunities through networking, referrals and market research.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory and internal policies.
• Prepare regular performance reports and contribute to branch and bank‑wide targets.

Required profile

• Strong client relationship management and customer service skills.
• Sound knowledge of business banking products, credit analysis and risk assessment, especially for SMEs and corporate clients.
• Effective communication, negotiation and presentation skills in English; Khmer proficiency is a plus.
• Ability to analyse financial information, prepare clear documentation and use banking and CRM systems efficiently.
• Bachelor’s degree in Banking, Finance, Business, Economics or a related field; relevant certifications are an advantage.
• Prior experience in relationship management, corporate or SME banking, or financial services in Cambodia is strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, meet sales and portfolio targets and collaborate within a multicultural team.
• High ethical standards, attention to detail and commitment to regulatory compliance.
