Relationship Manager (Deposit)

About the role

The Relationship Manager (Deposit) is responsible for acquiring new RSME clients, managing existing non‑lending relationships and driving deposit growth to meet sales targets. The role works closely with branch teams and other business units to capture cross‑selling opportunities and ensure high‑quality customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Market and acquire new RSME clients, promote deposit products and increase revenue.
• Maintain and grow existing non‑lending client relationships, ensuring achievement of sales and deposit budgets.
• Collaborate with branch and business units to identify upstream/downstream referral opportunities.
• Develop business development strategies and cross‑sell the bank’s full range of products, including loans, deposits and digital platforms.
• Gather and maintain up‑to‑date market information to support branch marketing plans.
• Monitor RSME accounts, handle customer complaints and ensure a strong customer focus.
• Coach junior staff on basic credit and sales skills in partnership with senior managers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Banking, Finance, Economics or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of relationship management or business development experience in banking or sales.
• Strong command of written and spoken English.
• Ability to work effectively with individuals and groups to manage customer relationships.
• Good understanding of bank products and services for the target client segment.
• Flexibility and ability to adapt quickly to a demanding environment.
