Relationship Manager, Deposit

About the role

The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving business growth by acquiring new clients, maintaining strong customer relationships, promoting the bank’s products and services, increasing customer retention, and monitoring market competition to achieve business targets and profitability. The role focuses on expanding the deposit portfolio and ensuring profitable client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and grow a profitable book of business through effective referral networks and promotion of the bank’s products and services.
• Build a new commercial client base through referrals, sourcing, and meetings.
• Provide tailored financial recommendations by leveraging deep knowledge of the bank’s offerings and analyzing client needs.
• Supervise client relationship management, monitor financial implementation plans, and negotiate pricing to recommend appropriate products.
• Develop and implement customer retention strategies to increase value and encourage product evangelism.
• Monitor local competitors and devise plans to gain market share.
• Promote the bank’s products and services to boost brand awareness and customer traffic.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, banking, business administration, economics, or a related field.
• At least 3 years experience with a financial institution and 1 year in market and liquidity management.
• Good knowledge of Cambodian banking regulations covering market and liquidity.
• Good knowledge of data management and analysis.
