Relationship Manager, Deposit

About the role

The Relationship Manager – Deposit will drive sales of the bank’s products and services by acquiring new commercial clients and expanding existing relationships. The role focuses on delivering a friendly banking experience, maintaining customer satisfaction, and ensuring profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and grow a profitable book of business through referral networks, internal relationships, and local market activities.
• Build a new commercial client base via networking, referrals, and direct meetings.
• Provide tailored financial recommendations by deep knowledge of the bank’s products and analysis of client needs.
• Supervise client relationship management, monitor implementation plans, and negotiate pricing.
• Develop and execute customer retention strategies to increase value and promote repeat business.
• Monitor local competitors and devise plans to gain market share.
• Promote the bank’s products to raise brand awareness and drive traffic.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, banking, accounting or a related field.
• Minimum two years of experience in banking or financial services with a strong sales track record.
• Excellent knowledge of sales, marketing and customer service principles.
• Understanding of bank branch operations, cash handling, AML/CFT regulations and related policies.
• Proficiency in both Khmer and English communication.
• Strong analytical, negotiation and interpersonal abilities.

Required skills

• Proficient use of Microsoft Office.
• Experience with the bank’s internal software platforms.
