Regional Auditor

About the role

The Regional Auditor will support the Audit Department by planning, executing, and reporting on audits across Branch Baribour and Chheu Tom. This role ensures compliance with internal standards and helps improve operational controls.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare annual and monthly audit plans in line with department objectives.
• Conduct kick‑off meetings with branch managers to define audit scope and objectives.
• Perform fieldwork covering loan portfolios, cash management, banking services, expenses, office security, customer service, HR, and internal controls.
• Document findings in clear work papers and draft audit reports with actionable recommendations.
• Lead exit meetings, track findings, and follow up on corrective actions.
• Investigate irregularities and provide feedback to branch management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field (e.g., CAT).
• At least one year of auditing, accounting, or credit/lending experience in the banking sector.
• Strong understanding of banking products, risk management, internal controls and audit principles.
• High integrity, objectivity, and ability to work independently under pressure.
