Quality Assurance Officer

About the role

The Quality Assurance Officer will lead the planning and execution of quality and quantity assurance activities across partner stations, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry standards. This role involves close collaboration with technical teams, independent laboratories, and external stakeholders to maintain product integrity.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare weekly and monthly work plans for quality and quantity assurance.
• Lead technical teams to inspect partner stations in line with QA policies and procedures.
• Conduct overall inspections to verify compliance with trademark agreements.
• Coordinate regular quality inspections with independent laboratories.
• Verify inspection results and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders.
• Provide advisory and technical assistance to partner stations to ensure adherence to QA policies.
• Manage QA equipment and tools, including routine calibrations, verifications, and functional checks.
• Investigate any incidents or issues related to product quality and quantity transparently.
• Train and coach technical team members and other stakeholders on QA management skills.
• Produce and document comprehensive QA reports.
• Support technical and stock control activities as needed.
• Perform other tasks assigned by the Operations Manager.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronic, Electrical, Mechanical, Automotive engineering, QA management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in quality assurance; supervisory or management experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of the oil or gas industry is advantageous.
• Experience with risk and uncertainty management.
• Willingness to travel and stay overnight as business needs dictate.
• Ability to apply incident investigation methodologies.
• Strong written and spoken English communication skills.
• Fast learning ability, critical thinking, and problem‑solving skills.
