Production Control Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Production Control Manager to oversee end‑to‑end manufacturing operations in a food production environment. The role ensures that production meets sales demand while maintaining quality, safety, and cost targets.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and control daily, weekly, and monthly production to meet targets on time, respecting sales demand, capacity, quality, and cost requirements.
• Manage the complete production process from raw material receipt through preparation, weighing, mixing, cooking/processing, filling, sealing, labeling, packing, and transfer of finished goods.
• Coordinate with Warehouse, Purchasing, and QA/QC to guarantee availability, proper storage, release, traceability, and usage of raw materials and packaging according to approved recipes/BOM while minimizing waste.
• Ensure all production activities comply with SOPs, GMP, HACCP, ISO 22000, hygiene, food‑safety regulations, product specifications, and batch traceability, and resolve any quality issues.
• Lead, supervise, and develop the production team, handling manpower allocation, attendance, discipline, training, productivity, performance, and production KPIs.
• Oversee machinery availability, coordinate preventive maintenance and breakdown repairs, and work to reduce machine downtime and improve production efficiency.

Required profile

• Proven experience in production planning and execution within a manufacturing or food‑processing environment.
• Strong leadership abilities with experience managing and developing production teams.
• Good understanding of raw‑material and inventory control, including coordination with warehouse and purchasing functions.
• Knowledge of quality and food‑safety management systems such as GMP, HACCP, and ISO 22000.
• Ability to work with cross‑functional teams to ensure seamless production flow.
