Procurement & Logistics Operator

About the role

The Procurement & Logistics Operator will support the sourcing, purchasing and import processes for CPTL’s projects in Cambodia. Working closely with internal departments and external suppliers, the role ensures timely delivery of goods and services while maintaining accurate records.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in market research to identify new suppliers of goods and services.
• Review specifications, delivery terms and payment conditions to ensure compliance.
• Obtain supplier quotations, perform quote analysis and prepare documents for management approval.
• Maintain regular contact with suppliers to monitor order status and resolve issues such as defects or returns.
• Update and manage supplier and price databases, ensuring information is current.
• Issue purchase orders, contracts and quotations to relevant departments.
• Coordinate with transport agents and customs authorities to manage shipment and customs clearance, ensuring timely processing.
• Maintain accurate documentation and records in line with retention policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Marketing or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in procurement, shipment coordination and customs clearance, preferably with Cambodia customs and transport agents.
• Familiarity with procurement practices in the power, energy or infrastructure sectors is an asset.
• Strong analytical and negotiation abilities, and the ability to work under tight deadlines in a multicultural environment.
