Procurement & Logistics Operator

About the role

The Procurement & Logistics Operator will support the sourcing, purchasing and customs clearance processes for imported goods and services. Working closely with internal departments, suppliers and customs agents, the role ensures timely delivery and compliance with company policies.

Key responsibilities

• Explore new market sources for goods and services and evaluate specifications, delivery terms and payment conditions.
• Obtain supplier quotations based on approved purchase requests and prepare quote analyses for management approval.
• Maintain regular contact with suppliers to confirm delivery schedules and service performance.
• Update and maintain supplier and price databases, ensuring accurate and current information.
• Resolve issues such as defective or damaged goods, returns, and other supply‑chain disruptions.
• Issue purchase orders, contracts and quotations for departmental approval.
• Keep detailed records, reports and documentation in line with retention schedules.
• Coordinate with transport agents and customs authorities to manage shipment and customs clearance activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Marketing or a related field.
• 3‑5 years of experience in procurement, shipment management and customs clearance, preferably with Cambodian customs and transport agents.
• Familiarity with procurement processes in the power, energy or infrastructure sectors is an asset.
• Strong knowledge of Cambodian customs regulations and tax provisions.
• Excellent negotiation, analytical and teamwork abilities in a multicultural environment.
• Proficient written and spoken English.
