People Experience Manager – Cambodia

About the role

The People Experience Manager will lead HR initiatives across all business units in Cambodia, ensuring a high‑performance, engaging workplace. Reporting to the Country Director and collaborating with regional PX leadership, the role blends strategic planning with day‑to‑day execution to support growth and employee satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with the Country Director, Regional PX Director and Country Leadership Team to design and implement people strategies that drive business growth and employee experience.
• Lead the full employee lifecycle – recruitment, onboarding, development, performance management, career progression and off‑boarding – across Student Placement, IELTS, English Language Teaching and support functions.
• Provide trusted HR advisory on workforce planning, talent management, organisational design, employee relations, succession planning and change initiatives.
• Oversee compensation and benefits processes, including annual reviews, market benchmarking and reward programmes in line with company guidelines.
• Drive learning and development programmes to build leadership capability and organisational readiness.
• Ensure compliance with Cambodian labour legislation, statutory requirements, visa and work‑permit processes.

Required profile

• 7‑10 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years leading a country HR/PX function or senior HR leadership role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Management or a related field.
• Proven experience in a multinational, matrix organisation and strong knowledge of Cambodian labour law.
• Demonstrated ability to partner with senior leaders, influence decisions and manage stakeholder relationships.
• Fluent in Khmer and English with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
