National Sales Director

About the role

We are seeking a National Sales Director to lead our nationwide sales organization, driving revenue, market share and profitability across all channels. The role will shape the sales strategy, optimise route‑to‑market and build a high‑performing team.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute annual and monthly national sales strategies aligned with corporate objectives.
• Manage revenue, volume and profitability targets while controlling discounts, promotions and trade terms.
• Design and continuously improve the national Route‑to‑Market strategy, overseeing pre‑sales, van sales, direct delivery and distributor models.
• Lead channel strategies for General Trade, Modern Trade, Key Accounts, Wholesale and HoReCa, setting targets and negotiating major commercial agreements.
• Oversee distributor selection, performance monitoring, inventory management and regular business reviews.
• Provide accurate rolling sales forecasts and coordinate with supply chain, production and procurement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales Management or related field.
• 10–15 years of FMCG sales experience, including at least 5 years in a senior national or regional sales leadership role.
• Proven ability to manage large sales organisations and nationwide distribution networks.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Distributor Management System (DMS) and related sales reporting tools.
• Strong analytical capability for sales data, forecasting and performance monitoring.
