National Communication Consultant – Multimedia Specialist

About the role

UNICEF Cambodia is seeking a National Communication Consultant – Multimedia Specialist to lead the creation of high‑quality visual and multimedia content that highlights the impact of its programmes and amplifies the voices of children and young people.

Key responsibilities

• Produce innovative multimedia assets including photography, videography, digital storytelling, social‑media posts, publications, campaign materials and branded visibility assets.
• Support advocacy, resource mobilisation and public‑engagement objectives by showcasing programme results across digital, social and traditional platforms.
• Collaborate with the Communication Team and programme sections to ensure content aligns with UNICEF branding and child‑safeguarding standards.
• Manage multimedia assets, digital archives and content‑management systems, keeping them up‑to‑date with appropriate metadata.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, multimedia design, visual arts, film production, marketing, public relations or a related field.
• Minimum three years of professional experience in multimedia production, graphic design, photography, videography and digital storytelling, with a portfolio of relevant work.
• Fluency in Khmer and English, both written and spoken.

Required skills

• Strong photography and videography skills, including operation of DSLR and professional camera equipment.
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite – Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro and After Effects.
• Experience in multimedia production and editing on Mac and PC platforms.
• Knowledge of social‑media content creation, digital engagement strategies and content‑management systems.
