Merchandiser – Product Development & Supplier Management

About the role

The Merchandiser will drive the operational follow‑up of production phases after order confirmation, ensuring products move smoothly from development to delivery while maintaining high standards of quality, traceability and sustainability.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate product development with vendors, including QA fitting, lab dip/color matching and fabric approvals.
• Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date information across all internal systems.
• Implement and monitor product traceability and transparency processes.
• Receive, dispatch and store samples efficiently.
• Track fabric and garment production to guarantee on‑time delivery.
• Resolve issues such as delays, commercial decisions, rejections or order shortages.
• Monitor supplier performance and execute corrective action plans to meet KPIs.
• Promote fair business practices with a focus on social compliance and environmental responsibility.
• Undertake additional tasks or projects as assigned by management.

Required profile

• 2‑6 years of relevant merchandising experience.
• Higher Diploma in Textile or a university degree.
• Fluent in English and the local language, both written and spoken.
• Strong teamwork, results orientation, cross‑cultural competence and problem‑solving abilities.
