About the role
The Manager, Training is a strategic capability builder within DKSH's Sales and Marketing Excellence function, responsible for designing and delivering impactful learning programs that elevate sales team performance and support commercial growth across Cambodia. This role shapes a high‑performance learning culture by aligning talent development initiatives with DKSH's broader business objectives.
Key responsibilities
- Collaborate with local and group stakeholders to design targeted training programs that close identified capability gaps.
- Develop engaging training materials, including presentations, manuals and e‑learning content.
- Maintain a structured training calendar in partnership with cross‑functional teams.
- Facilitate functional and essential skills training sessions, workshops and seminars for sales and other functions.
- Partner with subject‑matter experts to deliver business‑aligned curriculum.
- Implement diverse instructional techniques to accommodate different learning styles.
- Conduct regular sales team capability assessments through classroom, online and in‑field formats.
- Evaluate training outcomes using participant feedback and performance metrics, refining content continuously.
- Lead In‑Field Coaching (IFC) activities, spending 25‑50% of time on field visits to observe market dynamics and translate insights into training design.
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Human Resources or a related field.
- Minimum five years of experience in training or learning and development, with proven experience as a trainer.
- Familiarity with traditional and modern training methods and tools, including Learning Management Systems.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to engage audiences at all levels.
- Strong organizational and time‑management abilities to handle multiple programs simultaneously.
- Analytical thinking to translate data and field insights into actionable learning interventions.
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
- Willingness to travel as required.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Learning Management Systems (LMS).
- Advanced use of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
