Manager, Trade Sales

About the role

The Manager, Trade Sales is responsible for achieving sales budgets and driving revenue growth for existing and new customers within Maybank Cambodia. The role combines advisory services in trade finance and cash management with proactive sales and product development.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve sales and revenue targets defined in the balanced scorecard.
• Identify and pursue new sales opportunities while upselling and cross‑selling bank products.
• Manage the sales pipeline for trade finance and cash management solutions.
• Collaborate with product partners and other channels to increase wallet share and market utilization.
• Plan, execute and manage trade, cash management FI products and strategy.
• Assist in improving pre‑ and post‑service processes for trade and cash management.
• Develop product packaging, promotions and enhancements for trade and cash management.
• Monitor transactions to ensure operational support and risk controls are in place.
• Ensure compliance with Cambodian laws, regulations and internal policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Banking, Finance, Economics or related field.
• 3‑5 years of relevant experience in a growth‑sales environment.
• Advanced English proficiency (written and spoken).
• Strong track record in sales and revenue generation.
• Understanding of trade regulations (e.g., UCP600, URDG758) and transaction banking products.
• Knowledge of working capital, accounts payable and receivable solutions.
• Deep understanding of financial institution management reporting, cost allocation and earnings drivers.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines.
