Manager of Financial MIS Unit

About the role

The Financial MIS Unit Manager leads a team responsible for collecting, validating, and consolidating financial data to support accurate reporting across the bank. This role combines finance knowledge with strong technical expertise to deliver reliable reports and analytical tools for senior management and regulators.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the Financial MIS team in data collection, validation, and consolidation for financial reporting.
• Manage data extraction from Oracle Database and other approved systems for branch, head‑office, consolidated and ad‑hoc reports.
• Review report outputs, extraction logic, mapping tables and templates to ensure accuracy, completeness and consistency.
• Support the preparation of financial statement schedules, footnotes, ratios and regulatory reporting data.
• Develop and maintain reporting templates using Crystal Report, Excel, Access, Oracle BI Publisher and Power BI.
• Maintain SQL queries, Oracle reporting logic, VBA scripts, Access tools, Power BI dashboards and Python automation scripts.
• Collaborate with IT to support window‑based or web‑based applications used by Finance.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Financial MIS, reporting systems, data analytics or database reporting.
• At least 3 years of experience in banking or financial services (preferred).
• Strong English communication skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
