Manager, Development & Commercialization Apparels

About the role

The Manager, Development & Commercialization Apparels will act as the key liaison between adidas creation centres and external suppliers in Cambodia. You will ensure that product creation milestones are achieved on time, with the required quality and cost standards.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor supplier performance against milestones and KPIs for both physical and virtual product creation.
• Escalate and resolve issues that cannot be settled by creation centres or suppliers.
• Implement transfer policies to maintain product integrity (quality, aesthetics, cost) throughout the process.
• Validate that virtual prototypes accurately reflect designers' intent and align with physical production.
• Develop category‑specific capabilities within internal and supplier teams and act as the category spokesperson.
• Collaborate with manufacturers on technical upgrades, new technologies, and process improvements.
• Coach and support internal and supplier team members to enhance their skills.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in the apparel industry in a technical capacity, including managerial responsibilities.
• Proven ability to lead, develop, and motivate teams.
• Strong understanding of apparel manufacturing processes.
• Basic knowledge of 3D virtual sample creation and engineering.
• Good grasp of costing principles.
• Effective communication and negotiation skills.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
