Lead Teacher - Upper GEP & Diploma Program

Key responsibilities

• Oversee GEP and Diploma program documents and course materials, ensuring they are up-to-date.
• Monitor, evaluate, and develop program materials.
• Provide administrative and educational support to teachers.
• Run program meetings each term and mark placement tests for new students.
• Interview prospective teaching candidates and complete interview reports.
• Counsel students on attendance, motivation, and level issues.
• Conduct professional development workshops for program teachers each term.
• Arrange inductions, mentors, and level moderators for new teachers.
• Observe teachers, give constructive feedback, and arrange peer observations.
• Assist with timetables, assessments, and enrolment procedures for borderline students.
• Participate in ACE events and perform other duties as directed by the Campus Manager.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree with an ELT‑related qualification (master’s in TESOL/Applied Linguistics preferred).
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
• Excellent organizational and time‑management abilities.
• Commitment to professional integrity and ethical conduct.
• Effective problem‑solving and ability to work in a multicultural environment.
