Kindergarten Substitute Teacher (On‑call)

About the role
EFI is seeking qualified on‑call substitute teachers for its Kindergarten and Primary classes. You will step in when a regular homeroom teacher is absent, ensuring that students continue to learn without disruption.
Key responsibilities
- Follow the lesson plan left by the regular teacher, or create short‑term plans when necessary.
- Maintain classroom discipline and a positive learning environment.
- Deliver instruction in French, English, or both, according to the bilingual curriculum.
- Record attendance and report any notable observations to the school administration.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field.
- At least one year of teaching or substitute‑teaching experience.
- Proficiency in French or English; fluency in both is a plus.
- Experience in a bilingual teaching environment is advantageous.
