About the role
The Junior Store Manager will oversee daily supermarket operations, ensuring high customer satisfaction, efficient performance, and a safe shopping environment.
Key responsibilities
- Manage store operations and achieve budgeted sales while following SOPs.
- Lead and develop team members, monitoring performance and fostering a positive culture.
- Maintain food safety standards and statutory compliance.
- Control shrinkage, out‑of‑stock items, and inventory levels.
- Implement promotional displays and price changes, and enforce security procedures.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of retail management experience.
- Strong strategic, leadership, and communication abilities.
- Integrity, openness to change, and alignment with company values.
Required skills
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Ability to manage teams and motivate staff.
