IT University Lecturer

About the role

The University Lecturer will teach IT courses at Phnom Penh International University on a full‑time, on‑site basis. You will design and deliver lectures, seminars and tutorials while ensuring alignment with academic standards and program outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare lesson plans, develop teaching materials and deliver lectures, seminars and tutorials.
• Assess student performance through assignments, examinations and provide academic advising and mentoring.
• Participate in curriculum development, departmental meetings and academic committees.
• Maintain accurate academic records and support student engagement.
• Collaborate with colleagues to improve teaching quality and contribute to research or scholarly activities.

Required profile

• Master’s degree or doctorate in a relevant discipline with strong subject‑matter expertise.
• Demonstrated higher‑education teaching experience, including lesson planning and assessment.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English; knowledge of Khmer is a plus.
• Ability to work collaboratively, contribute to academic committees and foster an inclusive learning environment.
• Research, analytical and scholarly writing skills supporting publications or academic projects.
