IT Support Officer

About the role

The IT Support Officer will provide technical assistance and oversight for the head office and branch staff, ensuring smooth operation of all IT infrastructure across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain computers, peripherals, printers, networking, internet, email, security, and data backup/recovery systems.
• Install and update software, antivirus, network connections, and printers for all locations.
• Provide ongoing maintenance and support for IT systems at the head office and branches.
• Train end‑users on new software, PC maintenance, and troubleshooting procedures.
• Document, upgrade, or replace hardware and software as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, MIS or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in IT/MIS/Telecom within MFIs or banks.
• Good understanding of banking operations.
• Fluent English with strong integrity, positive attitude, and willingness to travel.
