Investment Associate – CLM Hub

About the role

Prudential is seeking an Investment Associate to support investment and treasury activities across Cambodia, Laos and Myanmar (CLM). You will work closely with the investment manager and compliance team to evaluate opportunities, execute transactions, and monitor portfolio performance.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the investment manager with financial due diligence, credit rating, bond pricing, equity valuation and drafting investment proposals.
• Gather information from counterparties and perform sanction screening and anti‑bribery & corruption due diligence.
• Support investment execution, cash movement, cash‑flow reporting and cash‑flow projection for Cambodia.
• Monitor and reconcile repayments from counterparties and calculate portfolio performance metrics such as yield, duration, concentration and credit‑limit utilization.
• Prepare performance reports for the CLM Investment Committee on a quarterly or ad‑hoc basis.
• Conduct annual credit‑rating reviews and quarterly monitoring of financial covenants.
• Assist with annual risk and compliance exercises and perform other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in investment evaluation, audit, financial due diligence or a related field, preferably in insurance, investment banking or an international accounting firm.
• Bachelor’s degree in banking & finance, accounting, economics or a related discipline.
• Strong analytical mindset, critical‑thinking ability and data‑crunching skills.
• Proficiency in interpreting financial statements, analyzing business models and assessing market competitiveness.
• Good knowledge of capital markets and economic trends in Cambodia, Laos and Myanmar.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
