Internal Control Unit Manager

About the role

The Internal Control Unit Manager will lead the design, implementation and continuous improvement of the company’s internal control framework. Reporting to the Internal Control Manager, this role ensures that operational, financial, compliance and process risks are identified and mitigated across all business units.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and refine internal control policies, procedures and standards.
• Lead internal control reviews across business units to identify operational, financial, compliance and process risks.
• Monitor control effectiveness and ensure corrective actions are executed and tracked.
• Conduct risk assessments and provide practical recommendations to strengthen processes.
• Coordinate with internal/external audit, finance, HR, legal and business units to resolve control issues and audit findings.
• Prepare regular internal control reports for senior management, highlighting key risks, gaps and improvement actions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Risk Management or related field; professional certification preferred.
• 3‑5 years of experience in internal control, audit or related finance functions.
• Strong knowledge of internal control frameworks, risk assessment, audit processes and compliance.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and report‑writing abilities.
• High integrity, attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information.
