Head of Sales and Public Relations

About the role

The Head of Sales and Public Relations leads the club’s commercial and communication strategy, combining revenue generation with brand building. This senior position is responsible for driving membership sales, corporate events, and tournament bookings while shaping the club’s public image.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to meet revenue targets for golf memberships, corporate golf days, tournaments and group bookings.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities in local and international markets.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, tour operators, event planners and other key stakeholders.
• Conduct site inspections, deliver client presentations and ensure high levels of client satisfaction.
• Promote and sell golf tournaments, charity events and corporate outings, coordinating with operations for seamless execution.
• Collaborate with marketing to create promotional packages, manage digital presence and represent the club at trade shows and networking events.
• Monitor market trends, competitors and pricing; prepare regular sales reports, forecasts and maintain the CRM database.
• Assist in pricing strategy for green fees, membership packages and group rates, optimizing yield based on demand and seasonality.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality or a related field.
• 3–5+ years of sales experience, preferably in golf, hospitality or tourism.
• Strong network in corporate, events or tourism sectors.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship‑building abilities.
• Knowledge of golf operations is a strong advantage.
• Open to both local and expatriate candidates; PGA International membership is a plus.
