General Manager – MFiT Operations

About the role

The General Manager will lead and oversee all operations, sales performance, profitability, and people management for MFiT, the supplement and sports nutrition business of PONEA Group. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will ensure each branch runs efficiently, delivers excellent customer service, meets business targets, and complies with company policies.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily operations of all MFiT branches and ensure adherence to SOPs.
• Develop action plans to improve operational efficiency and coordinate between head office and branches.
• Create strategies to achieve monthly and annual sales targets, monitor sales trends, and analyze reports for growth opportunities.
• Lead promotional campaigns, local marketing initiatives, and review pricing and product performance.
• Monitor profitability, expenses, and financial reports; implement cost‑control measures and participate in budgeting and forecasting.
• Approve expenditures within delegated authority and ensure accurate stock management, inventory audits, and loss prevention.
• Maintain high standards of customer service, address major complaints, and implement service‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of management experience in retail, distribution, or SME operations, with at least 2 years leading multiple locations.
• Experience managing a marketing or creative team and proven results with Meta Ads (Facebook/Instagram) in the Cambodian market.
• Strong numerical aptitude, decision‑making ability, and native Khmer with business‑level English.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Marketing or related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
• Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, problem‑solving and conflict‑resolution skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, reporting tools, and retail management systems.
