General Manager

About the role

The General Manager role is a full-time, on-site position based in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. The General Manager oversees daily operations, including sales performance, service quality, customer satisfaction, and overall business efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Set and monitor business targets to achieve revenue and profitability goals.
• Manage budgets, control costs, and conduct basic financial analysis.
• Supervise department leaders, providing coaching and performance management.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.
• Develop and implement strategic plans to drive growth.
• Support staff training and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, vendors, and other stakeholders.
• Report regularly to senior leadership and drive process enhancements.

Required profile

• Proven experience in general management, operations leadership, or branch management within the automotive or related industries.
• Strong strategic planning, business development, and performance monitoring capabilities.
• Proficiency in financial management, budgeting, cost control, and basic financial analysis.
• Effective team leadership, staff supervision, coaching, and conflict resolution skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for engaging with customers, partners, and internal teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field preferred, or equivalent experience.
• Fluency in English; proficiency in Khmer or other regional languages is an advantage.
