Full‑time Lecturer – AI & Data Analytics Specialist

About the role

The University seeks a motivated full‑time Lecturer to teach and develop courses in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning and Data Analytics within the ICT Department. The role combines classroom instruction, supervision of student projects, scholarly research and collaboration with industry partners.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and deliver undergraduate and graduate courses in AI, ML, Data Analytics, Software Development and related topics.
• Prepare syllabi, lesson plans, assessments and continuously update curriculum to reflect emerging technologies.
• Supervise student research projects, internships, capstone projects and guide participation in hackathons or competitions.
• Conduct original research, publish in peer‑reviewed journals and present at conferences.
• Seek research funding and build collaborative projects with internal and external partners.
• Participate in departmental meetings, curriculum committees and community‑industry outreach activities.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of teaching or professional experience in AI, Data Analytics or Software Development.
• Master’s degree in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, Software Engineering or related field; PhD preferred.
• Demonstrated record of scholarly publications, conference presentations or industry reports.
• Personal qualities: honesty, integrity, enthusiasm, strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, and a commitment to continuous professional development.

Required skills

• Programming: Python, Java, C++, C#, R.
• AI/ML frameworks: TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit‑learn.
• Data analytics & visualization: Power BI, Tableau, SQL.
• Software engineering: Git, agile methodologies.
• Front‑end web development: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Bootstrap (or any JS framework).
• Cloud platforms (optional): AWS, Azure, Google Cloud.
