Fullstack Developer – Fintech & Rural Inclusion

About the role

We are seeking a capable, self‑directed full‑stack developer to join our Phnom Penh team. You will work across the entire product stack, building backend APIs and clean, functional web interfaces for lender clients and internal operations. The role is ideal for someone who thrives in a startup environment and wants to make a meaningful impact on rural financial inclusion.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services using Python (FastAPI or Django) and Node.js.
• Develop responsive web interfaces with React and Next.js for lender‑facing dashboards and internal tools.
• Integrate third‑party data sources such as credit‑bureau APIs, satellite data pipelines, and eKYC services.
• Write clean, testable code, participate in code reviews, and contribute to CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with the data‑science team to expose machine‑learning model outputs through product interfaces.
• Contribute to database design, query optimisation, and infrastructure decisions.
• Support deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting of production systems.
• Work directly with the COO and product team to translate requirements into working software.

Required profile

• 3+ years of professional software development experience in a full‑stack or backend capacity.
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and communicate clearly within a small team.
• Comfortable operating in a fast‑moving startup environment.
