Freelance Market Research Analyst (Remote – Cambodia)

About the role

Euromonitor International is seeking detail‑oriented freelance analysts to support regional and international research projects. The role involves conducting secondary research, store visits, and interviews to generate actionable market insights.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct secondary research on industries, companies, and consumer trends.
• Execute store visits and retail audits to collect brand and product information.
• Perform cold calls and trade interviews with companies and associations to gather qualitative and quantitative data.
• Analyze data, perform calculations, and estimate market sizes.
• Interpret findings and develop clear, structured business insights and recommendations.
• Prepare client‑ready deliverables such as written analyses, presentations, databases, and reports.

Required profile

• Professional fluency in English; local language proficiency is a plus.
• Exceptional numeracy and ability to interpret data from diverse sources.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a remote environment.
• Prior experience in market research or consulting, with exposure to trade interviews, store audits, and desk research.
