Forward Deployed Engineer (AI)

About the role

The Forward Deployed Engineer (AI) translates business challenges into AI‑enabled solutions. Working closely with stakeholders, you will prototype functional solutions quickly, iterate in real time, and ensure smooth hand‑off to production teams.

Key responsibilities

• Research actual business processes, exceptions, and reporting gaps by collaborating directly with process owners.
• Build working prototypes using AI tools within days, delivering runnable mock‑ups, automated reports, and reconciliation scripts on masked data.
• Iterate live with business owners, applying AI‑driven changes on the spot.
• Document prototype logic, data sources, and acceptance criteria before handing off to the receiving squad.
• Maintain reference status during production build and record decisions in concise one‑page summaries.
• Promote AI‑assisted prototyping across the division to embed the methodology as a standard practice.

Required profile

• Experience in banking or payments operations, reporting, or support flows.
• Daily habit of using AI tools to produce tangible outputs and iterate rapidly.
• Technical literacy sufficient to develop prototypes, with a commitment to acquire SQL skills within three months if not already proficient.
• Strong critical‑thinking ability to question requirements before building solutions.
• Executive presence and communication skills to present technical solutions clearly to senior leadership.
