Finance Manager

About the role

The Finance Manager will lead the finance function for Ernst & Young (Cambodia) Ltd., based in Phnom Penh. You will ensure accurate financial reporting, compliance with statutory requirements, and effective cash and tax management while supporting the firm’s strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee timely financial closing and production of accurate financial statements and reports.
• Maintain complete supporting documentation for all financial transactions.
• Ensure compliance with all statutory and tax obligations, including tax audits.
• Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting process and monitor finance KPIs.
• Manage cash flow and treasury activities for the firm.
• Coordinate with the shared service centre in Vietnam to streamline delegated finance tasks.
• Develop, implement and enforce internal finance and accounting policies.
• Identify and recommend process improvements to increase efficiency.
• Supervise daily activities of supporting accountants.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Management or related field; professional certification is a plus.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in a multinational environment, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of statutory financial statements and tax regulations.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines and thrive in a dynamic setting.
• Effective written and oral communication skills.
