Factory Manager – Mandarin Speaking

About the role

The Veneer Factory Manager leads all factory operations, ensuring safe, stable and efficient production. This position requires Mandarin language skills to coordinate with Chinese‑managed teams and suppliers.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee full veneer factory operations, including production planning, workforce supervision, equipment maintenance, quality control and safety compliance.
• Coordinate raw‑material supply with procurement and suppliers to guarantee uninterrupted production.
• Develop and improve workflows, SOPs and operational systems to boost efficiency.
• Manage preventive maintenance programs to minimise equipment downtime.
• Control costs, reduce waste and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental and company regulations.
• Train and develop production staff and supervisors.

Required profile

• 5–7 years of experience in factory operations or production management.
• Background in manufacturing industry, preferably with experience in factory setup or expansion.
• Experience working in a Chinese‑managed environment is an advantage.
