Facilities Manager

About the role

The Facilities Manager will be based full‑time at Orienda International Hospital in Phnom Penh, overseeing the daily operation, maintenance and safety of all hospital buildings and infrastructure. This on‑site role ensures that critical systems such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing and medical support equipment function reliably to support high‑quality patient care.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise maintenance teams and coordinate routine and emergency repairs.
• Manage service contracts, vendor relationships and preventive‑maintenance programs.
• Monitor cleanliness, security, fire safety and infection‑control standards across the facility.
• Develop and track facilities budgets, control costs and support capital‑improvement projects.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with clinical and administrative leaders to align the physical environment with patient‑care objectives.

Required profile

• Proven experience in facilities management, building operations or maintenance supervision within a healthcare or similarly complex environment.
• Strong knowledge of safety standards, regulatory compliance and risk‑management related to hospital facilities.
• Ability to plan and manage budgets, control expenditures and support renovation projects.
• Effective leadership, team‑management and interpersonal communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Construction Management or a related field; relevant certifications are a plus.
