English Writer – Editor

About the role

The English Writer – Editor will create and refine content for NagaWorld’s marketing and communication channels, including collaterals, social media, and press materials. This role supports multiple departments such as Hotel, FNB, Spa, Nightlife, and Gaming.

Key responsibilities

• Research, develop, write, proofread and edit compelling copy for advertising campaigns, marketing collaterals, scripts, video captions, social media posts, press releases, advertorials and websites.
• Collaborate with department heads to interpret briefs, generate concepts and ensure consistent brand voice across all platforms.
• Audit and revise messaging regularly for clarity, simplicity and performance.
• Conceive and develop marketing concepts and advertising campaigns from brief to completion, working closely with the Creative department.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of copy and content writing experience in lifestyle magazines, newspapers, advertising agencies or corporate/freelance settings.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines, multitask and operate both independently and within a team.
• Detail‑oriented, responsible, positive attitude and strong problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
• Strong English language proficiency; Mandarin proficiency is a plus.
