Developer, Product Development

About the role

The Developer, Product Development will support the full product development lifecycle for handbags, wallets and accessories, from early concept through commercialization. Working within the Asia product development team, you will collaborate closely with engineering, sourcing, costing and production partners to ensure high‑quality samples and timely delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in all stages of product development, creating prototypes, line‑presentation and brand‑activation samples.
• Coordinate special techniques such as printing, laser engraving and embossing.
• Track leather, material, component and hardware specifications with cross‑functional teams and factories.
• Partner with engineering to enforce quality standards and conduct early‑stage testing and risk assessments.
• Lead handover meetings with PM, costing and engineering teams to communicate design details, quality risks and special executions.
• Maintain accurate reports and updates in the EC‑Vision system.
• Verify sample accuracy during visits to sampling partners (SPs) before final approval.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of product development experience in handbags, wallets or accessories (branded experience preferred).
• Recent graduates with strong motivation are also welcome.
• Highly organized, proactive, result‑oriented and able to work independently.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and problem‑solving abilities.
• Strong attention to detail.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the EC‑Vision system.
