Desktop Support Executive

About the role

AirAsia is looking for a highly motivated, customer-oriented IT Support Specialist (Desktop Support Executive) in Phnom Penh. The role provides hardware and software support for PCs, printers, telephone lines, network cables and other IT peripherals, maintains computer equipment, resolves technical issues and supports daily IT operations across domestic branches, international branches and headquarters.

Key responsibilities

• Provide hardware and software support for PCs, printers, telephone lines, network cables and other IT peripherals.
• Maintain and troubleshoot computer equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimise downtime.
• Setup, install and configure hardware and software according to user requirements and company standards.
• Resolve technical issues as they arise and provide incident and service request support.
• Manage IT assets and equipment, keeping accurate inventory records and ensuring proper maintenance.
• Support daily IT operations and services for domestic branches, international branches and headquarters offices.
• Monitor and report operational performance, identify areas for improvement and implement measures.
• Collaborate with other IT team members to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
• Stay updated on industry trends and IT support advancements.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• Fresh graduates or 1-2 years of experience in IT Support or a similar role.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to keep confidential matters discreet.
• Strong aptitude for working with computers and troubleshooting technical problems.
• Good interpersonal skills, teamwork and a customer-centric approach.
