Deputy Chief Executive Officer (Deputy CEO)

About the role

ICS International School is looking for an experienced Deputy Chief Executive Officer to support the CEO in driving the school’s strategic vision, operational excellence, and institutional growth. The Deputy CEO will provide executive oversight across academic, student, operational, financial, and marketing functions.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the CEO in implementing strategic plans and institutional goals.
• Monitor organisational performance, departmental KPIs, major projects and action plans.
• Oversee academic quality, curriculum delivery, assessment processes and student achievement.
• Manage Student Affairs, Operations, Human Resources, Events, Finance, Tax, IT and other support services.
• Track student recruitment, enrollment, sales, marketing, branding and communications performance.
• Coordinate directors and department heads to ensure effective execution of management decisions.
• Review major operational, financial, academic and organisational matters and advise the CEO.
• Support governance, risk management, compliance and Board decisions.
• Foster institutional partnerships, external relations and growth opportunities.
• Act on behalf of the CEO when formally delegated.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Education, Finance, Economics or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience, including senior management or leadership roles.
• Proven experience overseeing multiple departments or organisational functions.
• Strong leadership, strategic planning and execution abilities.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and decision‑making skills.
• High professionalism, integrity, accountability and confidentiality.

• Proficiency with AI tools to enhance productivity and support analysis.
