Core Banking API & Development Officer

About the role

We are looking for a Core Banking API & Development Officer to enhance and maintain our Oracle Flexcube based core banking platform. The role involves designing, developing, and supporting APIs and web services that connect banking channels such as ATM, POS, mobile and internet banking.

Key responsibilities

• Enhance the core banking system using Oracle Flexcube development workbench.
• Develop, administer and troubleshoot Oracle Flexcube APIs and web services (REST, SOAP).
• Collaborate with vendors to implement new functions that meet business requirements.
• Integrate third‑party channels (ATM, POS, VISA, mobile, corporate internet banking, loan support, merchant, AML) ensuring high security and availability.
• Participate in project implementations and strengthen internal controls and regulatory checklists.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, MIS or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience with core banking APIs or similar systems.
• Good knowledge of banking operations and financial accounting principles.
• Strong English communication skills and ability to work independently under pressure.

Required skills

• Oracle Flexcube development and API management.
• Experience with ORDS REST and SOAP services.
• Proficiency in XML, JSON, JavaScript, Java, PL/SQL.
• Hands‑on with Oracle Database, PostgreSQL and Linux environments.
