Construction Manager – Phnom Penh

About the role

The Construction Manager will lead all construction activities for projects based in Phnom Penh, ensuring they are delivered on schedule, within budget, and to the required quality standards. This senior position reports to senior management and works closely with project and control teams.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, manage, and oversee construction from mobilization to hand‑over.
• Ensure timely delivery, budget compliance, and adherence to approved quality standards.
• Develop, monitor, and update construction schedules, sequencing, and work plans in coordination with Project Management and Project Control teams.
• Monitor progress, identify risks or delays, and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and on‑site teams to maintain workflow efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and local construction codes.
• Prepare regular status reports for senior management.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field (Master's degree a plus).
• Professional certification such as PMP or a recognized construction/engineering license is advantageous.
• Minimum 10 years of construction experience, including at least 5 years in a construction management or senior site management role.
• Proven track record of delivering large‑scale projects on time and within budget.
• Strong leadership and decision‑making abilities.
