Cluster Financial Controller – Cambodia Hotels

About the role

The Cluster Financial Controller reports to the Chief Operating Officer and provides strategic financial leadership across a portfolio of hotels in Cambodia, including Shinta Mani Angkor, Shinta Mani Wild, TRIBE Phnom Penh and JATI, Koh Russey. The role involves overseeing finance and accounting operations, ensuring profitability, compliance and supporting investment decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Drive financial planning, analytical performance review and monthly P&L analysis for each property.
• Lead the preparation of annual budgets and consolidate reporting for the COO and owners.
• Liaise with HMD Asia Corporate Finance on taxation, banking, compliance and liquidity matters.
• Strengthen internal controls, oversee the Group Procurement team and ensure compliance with local regulations.
• Optimize cash flow in close collaboration with hotel General Managers and Finance Managers.

Required profile

• Fluency in Khmer and English with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive management experience in hotels or hospitality finance, preferably in a cluster or director‑level role.
• Professional accounting qualification (CPA, ACCA, CIMA) is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of USALI, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and Cambodia’s statutory accounting and taxation laws.

Required skills

• Experience with hotel property systems such as Sun, Opera and HMS.
• Proficiency in USALI standards and internal control frameworks.
